Alpine Skiing

The inclusion of an instructor on the trips has been the basis for UCPA's successful concept. Our instructors have the best local knowledge and know where to get the best runs for the day. They also give you technique tips and the tools to become a better skier. In the Ski program, skiing takes place on the slopes and in a group with other equal skiers.

Typical day
The days start with the ski group meeting to go through the set-up for the day. Each session lasts approximately 2.5 hours (2 sessions per day for full-time skiing & 1 session per day for half-time skiing). At some point during the week, a day trip may also be relevant where you take a lunch break on the mountain or at a nearby center. The days end with a feedback meeting where you discuss and evaluate the day.

Skiing with UCPA

Group riding is a large and significant part of the UCPA concept. All programs are led by one instructor per approximately 8-12 participants. During the first day of the programme, a so-called harmonization is carried out. This means that you and your group test a number of different elements to ensure that all participants share the same level.

Ski Heltid means a professional overall solution for those who want to focus on developing in skiing. Whether you are already a very good and experienced skier or if you are a beginner and want to improve, the instructor will help you reach the next level. In Ski Heltid you ski about 23h with an instructor during your ski week (divided into mornings and afternoons). Perfect both for those who have ended up on skis a little later in life and for those who want to improve their technique before trying off-piste. Ski Coaching is also available for those who want to ski in a slightly smaller group and have extra focus on the technique.

Ski Half Time is for those who want more time on their own, but at the same time do not miss out on the instructors' tips and tricks. In Ski Half Time you ski for about 12 hours with an instructor during your ski week (divided into mornings or afternoons). Skiing with an instructor also takes place here in groomed areas, the rest of the time you ski on your own. However, we always recommend, especially beginners, to choose Ski Full Time to get the most out of your ski week.

Ski Light gives you the opportunity to try two sessions of 2.5 hours each with an instructor during your week. This program is perfect for those who want the freedom to ski on their own but at the same time are curious and want to try the UCPA concept!
